The plan is to venture north until we genuinely can hear bagpipes.

...Then stay somewhere cheap and cheerful near a pub, have a good night with a few beers, then turn round on Sunday and come back.
There will probably be 70 and 100 mile options, depending on where the accommodation is (Kielder YHA, or a bunkhouse in Bellingham looking good so far), and you won't have to carry your kit.
We're thinking maybe 6-10 riders, but it would be great if we could get a few more.
