Out of interest what did anyone elses Garmin say the distance was? Mine said that from the 40 sign outside Reeth to the 30 sign outside the cemetary it was a shade under 10, is this correct or do I need to somehow recalibrate the GPS?

According to Mapometer the Garmin was within 0.02 miles
To say I'm pleased with my run is an understatement!

I get it to be 9.8 miles. Call it 10.
I did 22.19
Need to get considerably faster to be competitive against the likes of Paul T, Dave C and Stu W!

Also 9.8 on Google Maps. Interestingly it is 9.5 to go via Hard Stiles (and re-join the main rd at Marske). Anyone interested in trading the hill for 0.3 miles?

I got 9.83 miles in 23:49, I was aiming for a 30:00 so I'm very pleased.
I hope I can do as well tomorrow when it counts.
